Jonesboro E911 is a county-wide public safety answering point which handles over 20,000 incoming calls per month for all Police and Fire Departments in Craighead county.  Jonesboro E911 was the lead agency in the development of the Craighead County Interagency Task Force, currently employs nineteen full-time dedicated communications specialists, and has the capacity for five reserve dispatchers.  E911 has ongoing training in police and fire dispatch along with FEMA and Homeland Security Training.  E911 is also involved in community projects such as deploying a mobile command center at the Northeast Arkansas District Fair and Arkansas State University sporting events.
