File a Police Report with JPD

A police report is the physical record of an incident deemed to be illegal or potentially illegal. Any JPD officer may file a report, but there are situations when an officer’s presence is not necessary. Using this online incident reporting form allows you to submit a report electronically and receive a confirmation email. Once your report is reviewed, we may contact you with any follow-up questions.

This reporting method is only for incidents where:

  1. It is not an emergency. (For emergencies, call 911).

  2. It occurred within the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. (We can only take reports of incidents that happen in our jurisdiction).

  3. It is not a Domestic Violence incident. (All such cases must be reported in person at the Police Department at 1001 S Caraway Rd. Open 24 hours a day).

  4. It is not a traffic incident. (If there are injuries, call 911). (If the traffic incident did not result in injury, call 870-935-5553 to request an officer to come to the scene and file the report in person). (If you were involved in a cycling incident, continue filing your report electronically below).

If these four factors apply to your incident, you may proceed below to the electronic form. If you need officer assistance, call 870-935-5657 to request an officer to be dispatched to you.

Submitting this form constitutes a “report with a law enforcement agency” for the purposes of 5-54-122- Filing a False Police Report.  If it is found that you intentionally filed a false report, you could face prosecution.
