Classes will be held on Thursday nights beginning at 6:00 P.M. Each class will last between three and four hours depending on the topic being discussed. Students will have the opportunity to participate in electives such as firearms day and simunition training that are held on Saturdays. Ride-alongs with patrol are scheduled according to each student’s preference.
Police work can, at times, be dangerous and unpredictable.
With that in mind please note some of the topics discussed and training aids used may be disturbing to some participants.
•Be at least 21 years of age
•Live or work in Craighead County
•Have no prior felony arrests
•Have had no serious misdemeanor arrests in the last 2 years
•Commit to attending 75 percent of the classes during the session
