Jonesboro Police Department responds to burglary of business

Officers with The Jonesboro Police Department were called to David’s Bridal located at 3009 East
Highland Dr on Monday, December 17, 2018 at approximately 8:30 pm. Once on scene,
responding officers were told that a robbery had just occurred.

Witnesses present during the robbery explained to officers that a male subject had entered the
store and pointed a black handgun at an employee and then demanded the cash drawer from the
register. The drawer was given to the suspect who then removed a small amount of money from
it and then left the store.

The suspect was last seen running east bound along the front of the store. He is described as a
younger black male, possibly in his twenties. He was wearing a black hoodie with dark green
camouflage pants and a black plastic skull mask.

This is an investigation in the beginning stages. At this time Detectives are gathering evidence
and following leads as they become available.
